Jaimie Miller Headshot(Des Moines, Iowa) – The Iowa Credit Union League (ICUL) today announced Jaimie Miller will become the next Vice President of ICUL.

Miller has served as the executive director for the Iowa Credit Union Foundation (ICUF), the philanthropic arm of the Iowa Credit Union League, since 2013. Under her leadership, ICUF has exponentially increased fundraising and impact, including creating the Emergency Relief Fund in 2020 which raised more than $700,000 in grants to community organizations and credit union members impacted by COVID-19.

“Jaimie is a passionate credit union advocate,” said Matt Oakley, chief operating officer of ICUL. “As we searched for a new vice president, it was imperative that this person have an understanding of the Iowa credit union system, have strong values that align with ICUL’s, and would serve as a passionate advocate for credit unions. We are very excited to see where Jaimie will take ICUL in this new role.”

As vice president, Miller will oversee the ICUL member services and events team and provide vision and strategy to support the ongoing success of the Iowa Credit union movement. She will work to cultivate relationships and connect Iowa credit unions with resources regarding operational challenges and strategic planning, as well as provide oversight of member programming.

In addition to her new role at ICUL, Miller will continue, for a period of time, to oversee the Iowa Credit Union Foundation as the executive director. She will support ICUF with oversight of staff, strategic planning, financial reporting and governance. With her continued involvement in ICUF, the connection between the work of ICUL and ICUF will strengthen the efforts of both organizations.

“We are so thankful for the service Jaimie has provided to the Foundation,” said Ann McMillian, current ICUF board chair. “Her excitement for the credit union movement is contagious and we look forward to supporting her in this transition to her new role with ICUL. The synergy between ICUL and ICUF will only grow stronger in benefit to both organizations with Jaimie serving as a connection point.”
